Attempted to pull over a dirt bike without a license plate on Gettysburg Road around 9:15 a.m.Wednesday, Apr. 6, according to Lower Allen Township police.
The dirt bike wove through traffic during a police pursuit but slammed into a pickup truck, police say.
All lanes on Lower Allen Drive southbound between Gettysburg Road and Exit: US 15 South were closed following the crash just before 10 a.m. to 511PA.
The coroner was called to the scene, according to emergency dispatchers.
The driver of a dirt bike police were trying to stop died at the scene, according to the police.
"The pickup driver is expected to be ok," police say.
